Alaya Resort Ubud Celebrated Durable-Six Anniversary

UBUD – Alaya Resort Ubud proudly celebrated its 6th Anniversary on 18th January 2018 at Manisan Restaurant with an appreciation event for its management team, all staff members and supporting partners. It was also a tribute to Alaya as a premier accommodation brand. The company has always stood by its mission to develop properties in distinctive destinations as part of an effort to merge a new generation of hospitality and refined service standards with classic contemporary interiors and innovative spaces.

During this year’s anniversary, Alaya Resort Ubud indicated that that the brand has a lot more in store by unveiling the inspiring tagline “Bolder – Brighter -Better”. The gathering ultimately marked 6 years of dedicated service and was themed “Durable-Six” (Smart, Independent and Xpressive) with the aim of moving forward.

In the month leading up to the “Durable-Six” Anniversary, the organizing committee conducted a number of activities in line with Alaya’s corporate social responsibility program and adherence to Bali’s Tri Hita Karana concept. Staff members eagerly participated in a clean-up campaign, a blood drive with the local branch of the Red Cross, cultural discussions, a traditional costume pageant, and a colourful version of Alaya’s Got Talent. As part of an ongoing effort to support internal development, we also announced the well-deserving winners of our Employee, Supervisor and Manager of the Year Awards. A staff outing to Keramas Park, Gianyar, Bali on 11th & 12th January 2019 brought all activities to a fun peak culminating in the actual Anniversary Party itself.

The “Durable-Six” Anniversary represented a journey of hard work and determination. “Celebrating 6 years of amazing memories marks a key milestone in the history of our boutique resort and the island’s evolving tourism sector,” said Dewi Mas, CHA. CHT, General Manager of Alaya Resort Ubud. 

During this momentous event, Bapak Jimmy Gunawan, CEO of Alaya Hotels & Resorts, also briefly addressed staff members and expressed his gratitude by saying, “We are so proud to have all of you as part of our work family. I hope that everyone remains focused and driven to keep up the good work for many more years to come.”
