GIUSEPPE RIVOLI, The New Head Chef at Bella Cucina

BALI – InterContinental Bali Resort is delighted to announce the appointment of Giuseppe Rivoli as head chef at the resort’s flagship Italian restaurant Bella Cucina.

Hailing from Catania, Sicily, Giuseppe brings a wealth of international experience to the role, combined with unbridled passion for creating signature Italian dishes inspired by the classic flavors of his homeland.

Qualifying as a chef in his native Sicily, Giuseppe quickly succumbed to wanderlust and set out to travel the world, honing his skills in kitchens across Europe. Formative stints in some of London’s finest establishments ranged from the Dorchester Hotel, to Harry’s Bar Private Club, Nobu Restaurant and finally Alloro Fine Dining Italian Restaurant where he rose to become Sous Chef. A twist of fate brought him to Bali in 2012, where he successfully helmed the kitchens of Al Dente and Vin+. His love for the tropics then led him to Thailand where he took a role as Executive Sous Chef at the illustrious 5-star Grand West Sands Resort Phuket. This highly motivated, well seasoned chef is now back in Bali and eager to share his passion for seafood, the freshest produce, and of course, perfectly prepared pasta. He is thrilled to create modern yet authentic Italian cuisine for discerning guests at The InterContinental Bali Resort.(*)
