KUTA – Cap Go Meh is the 15th day and the last day of the celebration of Chinese New Year. Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel welcomes guests who gather with friends, family and loved ones to enjoy this event which is filled with warmth, comfort and a good welcome.
Cap Go Meh celebration begins with the Barong Sai Ceremony that strolling around the hotel such the lobby, Sunset Bar, Beach gate, La Cucina, Villa and Spa area. The Lion Dance is very attractive and everyone is joining the Chinese Tradition to give Angpao to the Lion Dance. The bright atmosphere and the vibrant Barong Sai music made the Barong Sai Ceremony very lively. In the evening, Cap Go Meh Dinner has been prepared by our culinary team for our guests from 7:00 pm onwards with a choice of delicious dishes while guests enjoy Lion Dance, Live Music, Chinese Cabaret Dance and wushu to share happiness at The Pond Restaurant. The event ended with the lantern release as the symbolic of hope, wishing a prosperous and good fortune in this year ahead. (*)
