JAKARTA – PT Angkasa Pura I recorded that it had served 51 reactivation routes and opened new flight routes in the October-November 2022 period. The details of the 51 routes were 22 reactivation of international routes, 8 reactivation of domestic routes, and 21 opening of new domestic routes.
During October, there were 12 reactivation of international routes, 8 reactivation of domestic routes and 14 opening of new domestic routes. Whereas in November, there were 10 reactivation of international routes and 7 opening of new domestic routes.
“Continuing this positive record in 2022, during the last October-November period we again noted a growth in flight routes served at airports managed by Angkasa Pura I, both international and domestic routes. Towards the Nataru holiday period at the end of 2022, the trend The growth of this flight route is certainly an indicator of passenger growth in the later period of this year,” said PT Angkasa Pura I Main Director Faik Fahmi.
During the October-November 2022 period, Angkasa Pura I airports serving route reactivation and opening of new routes are Bali’s I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport with 13 international routes and 5 domestic routes, Yogyakarta International Airport with 3 international routes and 8 domestic routes, Juanda Surabaya with 4 international routes and 3 domestic routes, Makassar Sultan Hasanuddin Airport with 1 international route and 1 domestic route, Lombok International Airport with 1 international route and 1 domestic route, El Tari Kupang Airport with 6 domestic routes, SAMS Sepinggan Airport Balikpapan with 4 domestic routes, as well as General Ahmad Yani Airport in Semarang with 1 domestic route.
“During this period, there were 14 airlines reactivating international routes, as well as 6 airlines reactivating and opening new domestic routes,” added Faik Fahmi.
For international routes, in the October-November period, there are only airlines that reactivation routes. The details are Indonesia AirAsia with 5 reactivation routes, Scoot with 3 reactivation routes, Malaysia Airlines with 2 reactivation routes, Singapore Airlines with 2 reactivation routes, as well as Korean Air, EVA Air, AirAsia Malaysia, Batik Air, Batik Air Malaysia, Garuda Indonesia, Citilink, Jetstar Asia, AirAsia Xtra and Cathay Pacific each with 1 route reactivation.
As for domestic routes, the airlines that have reactivation of routes and opening of new routes are Super Air Jet with 12 new routes opening, Trans Nusa with 7 new routes opening, Citilink with 4 reactivation routes, Wings Air with 2 reactivation routes and 1 new route opening. Batik Air with 2 route reactivation, and Pelita Air Service with 1 new route opening.
With the addition of 51 routes in the October-November 2022 period, Angkasa Pura I has served a total of 195 reactivation routes and opened new routes from January to November. If detailed, there were 118 reactivation of international routes and 2 opening of new international routes, as well as 18 reactivation of domestic routes and 57 opening of new domestic routes.***
