JOGYAKARTA – Deputy Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy/Deputy Head of the Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Wamenparekraf/Wakabaparekraf) Angela Tanoesoedibjo had the opportunity to visit the Travel Exchange (TRAVEX) which is a side event of the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2023 in Yogyakarta.
Deputy Minister of Parekraf Angela directly monitors the flow of business to business (B2B) carried out by tourism businesses throughout ASEAN. Which consists of ASEAN NTOs, ASEAN Tourism Industries, Travel and Tourism Hospitality Industries, hotels & accommodation industries, TA/TO, and MICE players.
“Of course this Travel Exchange activity is expected to be a means of transferring knowledge that is beneficial for the advancement of the tourism industry and the creative economy. As well as being a bridge for tourism industry players to be able to penetrate the international market,” said Vice Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Angela, in his statement, in Yogyakarta, Friday (3/2/2023).
On that occasion, Deputy Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Angela also visited booths that marketed various domestic products at the Indonesian Tourism Exhibition, MSMEs and Culinary Festivals.
“There are many benefits from this exhibition. One of them is a big opportunity for domestic creative industry players to market their superior products to a number of ASEAN member countries,” said the Vice Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy.
TRAVEX (Travel Exchange) and the Indonesian Tourism Exhibition, MSMEs and the Culinary Festival are the two main exhibitions presented at the 2023 ASEAN Tourism Forum.
