BALI – Mixologist Sancaya Dwi, representing East Indies Gin, is ready to liven up the Sunset Beach Bar & Grill at InterContinental Bali Resort with a one-night-only Bar Take Over on 24 February 2023 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Embracing the theme of beach bar party, this one-off event will indulge guests in a selection of Sancaya’s refreshing creations using East Indies Bali Pomelo Pink Gin, a unique and refreshing gin infused with Bali pomelo and strawberry flavours.
Guests can sip on Sancaya’s signature cocktails whilst enjoying the stunning Jimbaran sunset topped off with a live band performance under the stars. These bespoke cocktails are available at Rp170,000++ per glass and happy hour runs from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., where patrons can enjoy the “Buy One, Get The Second One Free” promotion.

Sancaya believes that natural ingredients and the balance between all elements are the main secret to creating delicious cocktails. During the Bar Takeover, Sancaya will serve some of his unique creations. Relish in his Misty Hill which mixes strawberry shrub and lemon. Ananas Spritz offers delectable flavors of sparkling wine, earl grey, and pineapple soda, while Citrus Blast Sour is a mood booster with mandarin, lemon, and kaffir lime. Each drink is made delicious with East Indies Bali Pomelo Pink Gin.

Since the beginning of his career as a bartender at several bars in Bali, Sancaya has quenched his thirst for curiosity through practice, research, and development. He has been following trends and learning new techniques in the bar industry. His hard work and creativity has paid off with numerous accolades up his sleeve, including winning the Ultimate Bartender Championship 2022.
