Kecak and Barong Dance Show every Friday evening at the Taksu Art Stage on Peninsula Island, The Nusa Dua
NUSA DUA|PARADISO INDONESIA – In order to encourage tourist visits to the tourism area it manages, PT Indonesia Tourism Development (Persero)/Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), a developer and management company for The Nusa Dua area member of the InJourney Group, presents a new tourist attraction, namely Kecak and Barong Dance Show which can be enjoyed in The Nusa Dua area.
The presence of this cultural attraction, which is one of the most popular shows in Bali, was launched today through the premiere of the Kecak and Barong Dance Show at the Taksu Art Stage which is the newest facility for various cultural performances built by ITDC on Peninsula Island, The Nusa Dua. The Kecak and Barong Dance Show will then become a regular show held every Friday at the Taksu Art Stage, from 18.00–19.00 WITA with a ticket price of IDR 150,000/person.
General Manager of The Nusa Dua I Gusti Ngurah Ardita said, “We present the Kecak and Barong Dance Show as a choice of attractions for visitors and tourists staying in The Nusa Dua area, who want to enjoy cultural attractions without leaving the area. This attraction is held at the Taksu Art Stage, which allows visitors to watch cultural performances while enjoying the natural atmosphere with the ambience of the sunset and the crashing waves of the Indian Ocean beach. The construction of the staging stage and the holding of the Kecak and Barong Dance Show is one of our efforts to optimize The Nusa Dua to encourage tourist visits to the area.”
The Taksu Art Stage is built on an area of 1,386 m2 which can accommodate approximately 600 spectators. The construction of this performance venue is a refinement of the existing land, which was used before the pandemic for trials of cultural arts performances with a simple stage concept. These cultural arts facilities and attractions will complement other tourist facilities and attractions that already exist and are being developed at The Nusa Dua, such as the natural attractions of the DTW Water Blow Peninsula, Bali Nusa Dua Theater (Devdan Show, Bali Collection shopping center, Pasifika Museum, and the 18th golf course). holes, which make The Nusa Dua a tourist area with the concept of one stop destination, where tourists and visitors can carry out leisure and business activities and meetings without leaving the area
The Kecak and Barong Dance Show at The Nusa Dua raises the theme “Bali Langen”, a concept for Balinese Barong Dance and Kecak art that is packaged as a single performance in an open-air performance space. Bali Langen has the meaning and meaning of beauty, which describes the pleasant and interesting atmosphere of Bali to visit.
This show begins with the performance of the Barong Dance followed by the Kecak performance which tells stories from the Ramayana Epic and presents attractive performances from the dancers with a different concept from other Kecak performances. The Kecak and Barong Dance Show involved as many as 65 artists from Nusa Dua.
