LOMBOK, ULTIMOPARADISO.COM – PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia or Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) collaborated with the Mandalika Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) Association to hold a Community Collaboration program at Bazaar Mandalika, The Mandalika area on Saturday, (24/2).
This Community Collaboration program serves as a platform to explore, strengthen, and hone the skills and creativity of the local community or UMKM players who are members of the Mandalika UMKM Association.
One of the activities in the Community Collaboration program is a Cooking Class with the theme “How to Bake Pastry,” guided by Chef Khaeruddin Umar. This activity provides practical training in making pastry to UMKM players and visitors of Bazaar Mandalika. In this activity, a total of 45 participants attended to learn pastry-making techniques.
PGS. General Manager of The Mandalika, Wahyu M. Nugroho, stated through this program, it is hoped to provide positive encouragement for the growth and development of local UMKM.

Through cooperation and enthusiasm from local UMKM players, it is hoped that self-development can be enhanced and positive impacts can be provided for the Mandalika UMKM Association as a whole and sustainably. Opportunities for exchanging experiences, marketing strategies, and even trying out innovations in product development are beneficial for strengthening the local UMKM Association, fostering synergy among business players, and weaving sustainable cooperation for the improvement of the community’s economy.
Chairperson of the Mandalika UMKM Association, Sri Sofiati, stated we will continue to actively participate in efforts to develop the local economy, as well as build strong synergy with various parties to achieve progress for the Mandalika UMKM Association.
