Accor’s hotels and resorts across over 30 destinations in Indonesia to host Batik-themed events throughout October
BALI, ULTIMOPARADISO.COM – Accor, a leading global hospitality group, proudly presents KarnavALL Batik Indonesia, an exciting celebration of National Batik Day on 2 October 2024.
In honour of this cherished Indonesian tradition, Accor’s hotels and resorts in more than 30 destinations throughout the country will feature a series of Batik-inspired activities throughout the month of October, offering guests a truly immersive experience.
These activities will include fashion shows, workshops, exhibitions featuring Batik products from local small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as culinary offerings infused with Batik themes. Guests of all ages will be engaged through a wide variety of events, from interactive activities for children to special discounts for those donning Batik attire.

In line with Accor’s vision to respect Indonesian traditions, Novotel Bali Nusa Dua announced the opening procession of the KarnavALL Batik Indonesia activity by inviting guests, media and families to explore the beauty of the Batik tradition, which is one of Indonesia’s important cultural heritages.
This celebration begins with an opening procession on October 2 2024, at Arjuna Garden, Square Restaurant. Entitled “Balinese Night Special: KarnavALL Batik Indonesia 2024”, guests can enjoy a batik exhibition and also typical Balinese Endek weaving from the Agung Bali Collection.
“The Batik Day commemoration agenda is held every year, and this time we are presenting a series of events celebrating batik from today until the end of October,” said Bilal Chamsine, General Manager of Novotel Bali Nusa Dua.
Apart from the exhibition, guests can also learn more about the process of making batik and endek weaving, and try it first-hand. The event closed with a fashion show from the Agung Bali Collection. While enjoying the series of events, guests were also pampered with acoustic music and traditional Balinese dance.
The series of events “KarnavALL Batik Indonesia 2024” at Novotel Bali Nusa Dua continues with exhibitions and workshops on 9 and 16 October 2024. Taking place from 7:30 to 10:30 WITA in the Square restaurant, guests can still take part in
exhibitions and workshops making batik and endek weaving.
The next event will close with the Heartist Batik Fashion Show which is scheduled for October 25 2024, where Heartists/Hoteliers will showcase unique batik designs of their own creations.
