Ahmad Amirudin Crowned Champion at Grand Final – Barista Battle 2024

BALI, ULTIMOPARADISO.COM  – Excitement and anticipation filled the air at the Grand Final of Barista Battle 2024, held on Tuesday, 26 November 2024, at Beachwalk Shopping Mall, Bali. Organized by Expat. Roasters in partnership with Milklab, the eventbrought together eight talented baristas from Jakarta, Surabaya, Makassar, and Bali to showcase their creativity and expertise in crafting signature latte art patterns andsignature drinks.

After a day of remarkable performances, Ahmad Amirudin, a representative from Jakarta, emerged as the champion. Amir impressed the judges with his exceptional artistry, technical precision, and creativity. His winning latte art design and signature beverage highlighted his dedication to the craft and set him apart from the competition.

“It’s an honor to win this competition,” said Amir. “The Barista Battle has been an incredible experience, pushing me to grow and refine my skills. I’m excited to represent Indonesia at the International Barista Championship 2025 in Melbourne.”

The finalists competed in front of a distinguished panel of judges, including Shae Macnamara, CEO & Founder of Expat. Roasters; Caleb Cha, 2015 World Latte Art Champion; Anthony Douglass, 2022 World Barista Champion; and Yande J. Wirawan, Expat. Roasters’ Head ofTraining & Brand Ambassador.

The winners of Barista Battle 2024 are:
● 1st Place: Ahmad Amirudin (Jakarta) – Cash prize of IDR 10 million, certificate, merchandise, Flight ticket & accommodation to compete at the International Barista Championship 2025 in Melbourne, a chance to win tickets to the World of CoffeeGeneva in Switzerland, and one-year ambassadorship for Milklab.

● 2nd Place: Rizky Edyatna (Surabaya) – Cash prize of IDR 7.5 million, certificate, merchandise, and a coffee machine (single group).

● 3rd Place: Yoga Styadi (Bali) – Cash prize of IDR 5 million, certificate, merchandise, and a manual brewing set.
