The theme, Harmoni Bahari (Harmony of the Archipelago): Celebrating Indonesia’s Maritime Wealth, highlighted the significance of the Nusantara Sea—one of the largest maritime regions in the world, covering over 70% of Indonesia’s territory. Through art and culture, the festival emphasized the importance of conservation and the harmonious relationship between people and the sea, inviting guests to explore Indonesia’s rich cultural tapestry and natural beauty.
This year, THE 1O1 Bali Oasis Sanur was equally delighted to host its Mangrove Planting Program at KUB Simbar Segara, offering guests a unique opportunity to engage directly in environmental stewardship. Select hotel guests were invited to plant mangrove trees alongside staff and local conservationists, fostering a shared commitment to protecting Bali’s coastal ecosystems. Mangrove forests play a critical role in supporting biodiversity, strengthening coastal resilience, and absorbing carbon emissions, making them an essential part of Bali’s natural heritage.
