IHGMA RUN Bali 2025: Weaving Togetherness and Inspiring Sport Tourism in Sulangai Tourism Village, Bali!

BALI, ULTIMOPARADISO.COM – The Indonesian Hotel General Manager Association (IHGMA) Bali is proud to announce the first IHGMA Run 2025, a running event that combines the spirit of togetherness, sportsmanship, and concern for the environment. This event will be held in Sulangai Village, Bali, which is known for its enchanting natural beauty and strong commitment to sustainable tourism. Sulangai, a village rich in culture and customs, offers a charm that is rarely found elsewhere, with sustainable nature, green rice fields, and an atmosphere that invites us to feel the peace and tranquility of authentic village life again.

IHGMA Run 2025, which will be held on June 1st, 2025, is not just a sporting event, but also an effort to inspire the development of environmentally friendly sport tourism in tourist villages. With the theme “The Charm of Natural Sulangai”, event is expected to have a positive impact on the local community and the surrounding ecosystem. Runners will experience an unforgettable experience with various challenging running routes, starting from 3 KM, 5 KM, to 10 KM, which will take them through beautiful rural areas, blending with nature, and fostering a sense of longing for an authentic village nuance that soothes the soul.

The Chairperson of IHGMA Bali, Komang Artana, expressed his enthusiasm for this event. “IHGMA Run 2025 is not just about running, but also how we as tourism people can contribute to maintaining environmental sustainability and supporting local communities. Sulangai Village was chosen because it has extraordinary cultural and natural values, which are in line with our vision to support responsible and sustainable tourism. Sulangai Village reflects the true beauty of Bali, with noble customs and stunning natural scenery,” he said.

The Chairperson of DPP IHGMA, Dr. I Gede Arya Pering Arimbawa, S.TrPar., MSi., CHA., CHIA also expressed his appreciation for this initiative. “We strongly support activities that can strengthen sports tourism in Bali, especially in tourist villages such as Dewi Sulangai. Events such as the IHGMA Run 2025 are expected to attract tourists who are interested in sports while supporting the local economy. This village is not only rich in natural beauty, but also in the noble culture of Bali which is reflected in the daily lives of its people,” he added.

In addition, the Director of Rajalari, Panca R. Sarungu SE., MMSI., CTE, also expressed his support for this event. “We believe that sports tourism is one of the sectors that can grow rapidly in Indonesia. With a concept that focuses on sustainability and local community involvement, the IHGMA Run 2025 can be a model for other sports tourism events in the future,” he said.

IHGMA Run 2025 will present various running categories, ranging from Fun Run 3K, 5K, and 10K Challenge to Eco-Trail Run, which will take participants to explore the natural beauty of Sulangai Village, Petang, Badung. Participants will be invited to enjoy the view of green rice fields, shady trees, and fresh mountain air, while following a challenging and adrenaline-pumping track. In addition, this event will also be filled with various environmental education activities, a local product bazaar, and social programs aimed at supporting the surrounding community.
