PT Kleo Mandalika Resort to Build 5-Star Hotel in The Mandalika

NUSA DUA, ULTIMOPARADISO.COM  — PT Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), the state-owned enterprise responsible for developing and managing integrated tourism areas in Indonesia, officially signed a Land Utilization and Development Agreement (LUDA) today, Monday (April 21), with PT Kleo Mandalika Resort for the development of a 101,185 m² land area. A 5-star hotel under the Luxury Brand Collection concept will be built on Lot TTA3-A, located on Tanjung Aan Beach in the eastern zone of The Mandalika Special Economic Zone (SEZ), Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province.

This is a significant step in expanding world-class accommodation options in the eastern part of The Mandalika, especially on Tanjung Aan Beach. This investment not only strengthens The Mandalika’s position as a leading tourism destination, but also reflects global investor confidence in the potential and future of this area,” said Ari Respati, President Director of ITDC.

Meanwhile, Satoki Okazaki, President Director of PT Kleo Mandalika Resort, expressed his honor in collaborating with ITDC.

Today’s LUDA signing is more than just an agreement — it is a tangible manifestation of our shared vision to build a brighter future for The Mandalika. Through this agreement, the 5-star hotel built under the Luxury Brand Collection concept, along with other supporting facilities, is designed to enhance the luxury accommodation portfolio in The Mandalika. The planned investment value for this project is approximately IDR 2.1 trillion (around USD 130 million), serving as a strong testament to global investor confidence in The Mandalika’s potential as a premium tourism destination.

PT Kleo Mandalika Resort is a Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) company, established as a Joint Venture (JV) between firms based in Indonesia, Japan, and Dubai. The partners in this JV have extensive experience in developing retail properties and hotels in various countries, including projects within The Mandalika.

The LUDA agreement is valid for 30 years, with an option to extend for 20 years and renew for another 30 years.
