BALI, ULTIMOPARADISO.COM – The 10th of Bali & Beyond Travel Fair (BBTF), Indonesia’s leading annual tourism trade show, is all set to return in 12th -14th June 2024 at the Bali International Convention Centre (BICC) Nusa Dua – Bali with the theme of “Exploring and Experiencing Sense of Indonesia’s Beauty”. This year the 10th BBTF aims to reinforce Indonesia’s top travel destination by highlighting its diverse attractions, promoting sustainable practices in preserving nature, culture and heritage. At the same time fostering collaborations that drive the tourism industry forward quality and sustainable tourism. From Bali, the tourism stakeholders hoped to create a big impact.
In response to the market trend, BBTF will also exhibit and promote adventure and nature tourism, rural tourism, gastronomy tourism, community-based tourism as well as health tourism – emphasizing the current growth interests in wellness and medical tourism.
This year, BBTF committee presents a talk show with some top speakers about the business trend, opportunities and challenges to include the current over-tourism issues. New learnings on sustainable tourism approaches will be presented to ensure benefiting not only the environment but also the local economies and communities that rely on tourism revenues.
As part of the commitments on sustainable tourism, BBTF is encouraging industry stakeholders to become more community-based to create long term value and greater benefits for local people and the environment. This topic brought strong positioning in bringing reputable international buyers through years of network and sustainable business partnership.
BBTF 2024 facilitates 460 buyers from 45 countries to meet 282 companies as sellers from 8 Countries; Indonesia, Nepal, Timor Leste, China, Usa, Malaysia, South Africa, Iran and 11 provinces of Indonesia; Regions of Bali, DKI Jakarta, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), West Java, Central Java, Riau Islands, Yogyakarta (DIY), East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Bangka Belitung Islands, South Sulawesi, and East Kalimantan.
