NUSA DUA, ULTIMOPARADISO.COM – Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) has ensured the readiness of its three managed tourism destinations—The Nusa Dua, Bali; The Mandalika, West Nusa Tenggara; and The Golo Mori, East Nusa Tenggara—to welcome tourists during the 2025 Eid holiday.
This announcement was made at a press conference attended by the Corporate Secretary Group Head of InJourney, ITDC’s Commercial Director, and the General Managers of the three ITDC areas at Wantilan, Management Office The Nusa Dua, Bali, today (March 25).
Corporate Secretary Group Head of InJourney, Yudhistira Setiawan, stated that InJourney remains committed to ensuring smooth tourist flows during the Eid holiday period.
“As part of the national tourism ecosystem, InJourney is committed to supporting the smooth flow of tourists during the 2025 Eid holiday. We have prepared various strategic steps to enhance air travel accessibility, optimize airport services, and strengthen Eid transport posts in key destinations,” Yudhistira explained.
Meanwhile, ITDC’s Commercial Director, Troy Warokka, emphasized the continuous coordination with stakeholders in all three managed areas.
“In all three of our managed areas, we are consistently improving coordination with relevant stakeholders, strengthening security systems, and preparing various exciting programs in each area. We are optimistic and ready to welcome tourists for their holiday in our destinations,” said Troy.
As one of Bali’s premier destinations, The Nusa Dua is projected to reach an average occupancy rate of 70%, peaking at 80% during Nyepi and around 60% during the Eid holiday. Cultural activations have been prepared, including the Dresta Lango Festival, the Ogoh-ogoh Parade, and Kecak & Barong performances. Special Ramadan and Eid promotions, such as Iftar Dinners and discounted tourist attractions, are also being offered to attract more visitors.
“ITDC has added 21 security personnel, bringing the total to 88, supported by an integrated security system. Additionally, information and security posts will operate 24/7,” explained Dwiatmika, General Manager of The Nusa Dua.
Meanwhile, The Mandalika, a flagship destination in Lombok, is expected to see a 5% increase in visitor numbers compared to last year, with hotel occupancy rates varying between 32% and 75%, depending on the visiting period. The area’s security has been reinforced with a total of 105 ITDC Security personnel, 23 personnel under the command of the West Nusa Tenggara Police (BKO Polda NTB), 10 personnel under the command of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (BKO TNI), and 20 Mobile Brigade personnel (Brimob Polda NTB). The “Lebaran Seru” post will also operate from March 30 to April 8, 2025, providing 24-hour services for tourists.
General Manager of The Mandalika, Wahyu Moerhadi Nugroho, highlighted the unique tradition of Lebaran in Mandalika:
“The main attraction of the Lebaran tradition in Mandalika is ‘Lebaran Topat,’ which will be centered at Kuta Beach Park, attracting tourists who want to experience the unique traditions of the Sasak people. The ‘Lampaq at Mandalika Circuit’ program has also been prepared as a new attraction, where visitors can enjoy cycling on the race track with an entrance ticket priced at IDR 50,000,” said Wahyu.
The Golo Mori, a premium eco-tourism destination, has also prepared various measures to welcome tourists. Its occupancy rate during the Eid holiday is expected to reach 20%, with a 25% increase in visitors compared to last year. To ensure a safe and comfortable tourism experience, security patrols in the area will be intensified, along with the implementation of technology-based security systems such as 24/7 CCTV monitoring and controlled access.
General Manager of The Golo Mori, Aji Munarwiyanto, also introduced one of the most popular facilities at The Golo Mori: the Nuka Beach Club.
“Nuka Beach Club, as one of the main attractions at The Golo Mori, has also enhanced its service capacity by adding operational staff and launching various special Ramadan and Eid programs. Eco-tourism activations will be further strengthened to provide an exclusive experience for premium tourists visiting this area,” Aji explained.
As a holding company, InJourney also ensures the readiness of national tourism destinations in handling the surge in tourists during the Eid holiday.
